2018-2019 California Honor Roll schools

The Educational Results Partnership (ERP), sponsored by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence (CBEE), recently announced the 2018-2019 California Honor Roll schools. After an extensive analysis of student data for every public school in California, eight Capistrano Unified schools were identified as clear leaders in getting students to grade-level and beyond.

The Capistrano Unified schools named to the 2018-2019 Honor Roll are:

  • Vista Del Mar Elementary,
  • Wood Canyon Elementary,
  • Arroyo Vista Middle,
  • Don Juan Avila Middle,
  • Ladera Ranch Middle,
  • Las Flores Middle,
  • Aliso Niguel High School, and
  • Tesoro High School.

Model Continuation High School

Serra High School Earns Statewide Recognition as 2019 Model Continuation School

The state Department of Education has named three Orange County continuation schools among the best in the state.

We are #CUSDProud of Serra High School for being one of them to earn statewide recognition as a Model Continuation High School!

The three Orange County schools are among 31 recognized this year for their outstanding programs and innovative approach to instruction.

The selection process included a comprehensive and competitive application that involved effectiveness, assessments and use of data.

The 31 schools selected retain their designation for three years and will be recognized at the 2019 CCEA State Conference.  Serra High School previously received this recognition in 2016.
